The CSUSB Anthropology Museum is seeking California-based artists to prepare portraits, in any medium, for a 2023 exhibition about Afrolatine history, cultures, and identities. Submit a short interest statement, resume, and at least three photos of your previous work in the portraiture style you would use for the exhibition. Artists with ancestry that is both black and South American, Central American, and/or Caribbean are especially encouraged to apply. Amateur and professional artists are eligible. Application deadline is 1 December. $400 per commission.
