APPLY TO BE A CREATIVE AMBASSADOR
The Office of Cultural Affairs is now accepting applications for the 2023 Creative Ambassadors. The role of the Creative Ambassadors is to champion the power of creative expression and engage residents in finding their own creative voice. Ambassadors serve a one-year term, starting January 1, 2023, during which they produce a creative project that invites active participation from residents and celebrates the diversity of San Jose’s cultural communities.

Award Information

Up to four Creative Ambassadors will be selected for the 2023 term. Each Ambassador will receive a stipend of $9,500 to develop and implement an approved creative expression project within the Ambassador’s term.

TIMELINE:

Wednesday, September 7, 2022: Info Session Recording
Friday, October 10, 2022: Applications Due by 5:00 pm PST
November 2022: Creative Ambassadors Announced for 2023
January 1, 2023 through December 31, 2023: Creative Ambassador Term
