Metro Art invites Arts & Cultural Organizations to submit qualifications for the 2022 Arts & Cultural Organization Pool. Arts & cultural organizations that meet the eligibility listed below and successfully submit to the Pool will be considered for a range of future Metro art opportunities.

Background

Los Angeles County is in the midst of a mobility transformation. Metro is building connections to improve regional access while centering the customer experience, equity, community engagement and quality of life for all residents. Metro Art directs all arts and cultural programs integrated into Metro projects and on Metro property and is the lead for all agency non-Metro property arts and cultural initiatives. Metro Art programs respond to distinct transportation, rider and community contexts and recognize that arts and culture reinforce belonging, expand mutual understanding and uplift the customer experience. With the Arts & Cultural Organization Pool, Metro Art seeks to build on its long history of collaborating with community-based organizations in support of innovative, community-responsive, mobility arts and cultural programs.
