Education Paid Summer Internship

Description

About the Internship

We are seeking an enthusiastic college student or recent grad interested in learning about arts administration and arts education by working on Segerstrom Center’s two exciting summer camp programs. The internship runs from June 10-August 7, 2024.

Five Days of Broadway is a five day long intensive that introduces middle and high school students to musical theater technique and other aspects of the performing arts taught by some of the industry’s leading professional artists and educators. The program includes two, five-day sessions – one for junior high students and one for high school students.

Entering its 33rd year, Summer at the Center has been designed to empower high-risk high school students through active participation in a rigorous two-week program of musical theater classes conducted by professional artists. Summer at the Center is a collaboration between Segerstrom Center for the Arts’ Education Department and the Orange County Department of Education.

Segerstrom Center’s Summer Internship Program is designed to provide opportunities to individuals from diverse backgrounds and/or those who are members of a group that is underrepresented in our industry. While these internships are inclusive of all people, we strongly encourage candidates from diverse or underrepresented groups to apply. This is an in-person internship position.
