Grey Cube Gallery proudly presents the first Painting & Photography online art contest for the month of December 2021. Artists from around the world are welcome to submit. This is the open subject theme. The Gallery will accept entries in 2 different categories (painting and photography). All winning artists will receive a digital award certificate. Winning artwork (Best of Show) will be on the poster of the show. $16 for 2 images, $30 for 4, $42 for 6, and $50 for up to 8 images. Deadline: December 2, 2021.

Call for Entries: 37th Annual Made in California Juried Exhibition
Artists! Submit your work for our annual juried exhibition, Made in California.
Open to all living artists ages 18 and up residing in California. All entries must be original, completed in the past three years, and not previously shown at the Brea Gallery. All mediums are welcome! Over $2,200 in prizes are awarded annually and there is a unique opportunity to win a solo exhibition. Single entries are just $20, while solo show submissions are only $80 for a body of work (5 – 10 pieces).
Show Description: This annual juried exhibit showcases artwork from all over the state of California. MICA strives to highlight artists in all stages of their careers and offers them a chance to compete for a number of awards, including the coveted solo show opportunity. This regional show features artwork from an extensive variety of mediums and explores creative movements happening in California.
WINDOW: OPEN CALL FOR SOCAL SCULPTORS/VIDEO/INSTALLATION ARTISTS
WINDOW is an ongoing public art project in collaboration between Torrance Art Museum and Discover Torrance. It is a rotating solo presentation of artwork, curated by the museum staff and displayed in the storefront window of Discover Torrance, the official Visitors Bureau for the City of Torrance. Discover Torrance is located on the main level of the Del Amo Fashion Center, one of the largest shopping centers in the Western United States, affording a large segment of the South Bay community as well as many visitors to the city a chance to engage with artwork in a non institutional setting.
4 artists will be selected per year to participate.

Rules and restrictions:
Artist must be able to deliver and install their own work and must supply their own hardware, TVs, and/or pedestals, if needed.
Size restrictions: artwork must be no larger than 6 feet across, 3 feet deep, 8 feet high.
Dates: ongoing, each selected artist will have their work up for a duration of three months with a week for de-install/install in-between.
Only selected artists will be contacted. This project is ongoing with no deadline.

Call for Panelists – Annual Arts and Culture Funding Application Review Panels
Apply now to be considered for the City of San Diego funding application review panelists pool for the FY23 funding cycle, and contribute to supporting the impact arts and culture organizations have on our communities throughout San Diego!
The FY23 panel review process will take place in spring 2022. Panels will be conducted virtually or in a hybrid format.
We are looking for artists, cultural practitioners, and arts field professionals from all disciplines and backgrounds throughout North America and Baja California. Panelists receive a $150 honorarium for a full-day panel, and a $75 honorarium for a half-day panel.
