Contemporary Art Room Gallery is proud to announce their 2nd “Grey” Online Art Competition for the month of July 2022. This is an international competition and artists from around the world are welcome to submit their work. Only the works of art created in black, white and or shades of grey will be accepted. All visual art mediums are acceptable (painting, photography, drawing, sculpture, digital, prints, fiber art, collage or installation art) except sound and video art. All winning artists will receive a digital award certificate. Winning artwork (First place) will be on the poster of the show. $15 for 2 images, $28 for 4, $58 for up to 10. Deadline: July 14, 2022.

The warmth of the summer sun softens our fears and worries. It’s a respite after a long, cold winter. It nurtures play and relaxation. And in it, nature becomes its most luxuriant. Share your literal, symbolic, or abstract interpretation of SUMMER.
| Eligible Submissions:
Entries may include 2- and 3-dimensional media, such as paintings, drawings, photography, mixed media, installations, ceramics, jewelry, fabric, sculpture, photos of performance art, fiction, poetry, short stories and other written explorations (up to 1,800 words). Submissions must be the original work of the applicant(s). Apply using the online form.
| Highlights:
Publication in a brilliant art magazine and online 2-year exhibition. Four top applicants will receive a feature section with a profile written about them. Up to 40 applicants will be selected for the full exhibition, all to be showcased in the magazine and the juried online exhibition.

CICA Museum invites artists worldwide to participate in “Portrait 2023,” the International Exhibition on Portrait. The exhibition will feature photographs, prints, paintings, video art, sculpture and installation works.

Selected works will be printed in 10×15 or 10×10 inches, framed, and installed by our curators & assistants. If requested by the artist, works can be printed and framed in larger sizes. Additional fees may apply.

We will provide projectors and DVD/DIVX players for the show. Multiple single-channel works will be screen through a projector. If the work is required to be screened through a projector exclusively, or more than two projectors/monitors are needed, please indicate the special requirements in the submission email. Additional fees may apply.
-Painting, Sculpture & Installation Art
The artist is responsible for the shipment and delivery of his/her physical work to and from CICA Museum, as well as all related expenses. The two-dimensional work should be no larger than 39 inch (1 m) on the longest side, and the installation piece should be no larger than 39x39x79 inches (1 x 1 x 2 m, w x l x h). The work that needs to be mounted on the wall should not exceed 10 kg. Please indicate in the submission email if you are interested in exhibiting works exceeding the size/weight limit.
