A narrative can tell stories about a wide range of subjects, recount tales from religion, myth, legend, history, and literature, or examine existential questions, such as the meaning of life, death, and the nature of reality. A well-crafted narrative can transport us to another time and place, entertain, educate, and inspire or help us to view the world in a new way, reminding us of our shared humanity and the beauty of the world around us. Tell us, what’s your story?

Call For Photography: The Art of Landscape
The Art of Landscape is a photography exhibition that expands the definition of “landscape” beyond pastoral views and natural vistas. The exhibition invites photographers whose work includes and traverses the realm between the natural and the built, the monumental and the ephemeral. Where horizons collide with vertical skylines; cityscapes, seascapes, industrial scapes, deserts, forests, and imagined terrains. The result is a visual exploration of our relationship to time and place and how humanity is transformed by the environments it inhabits. The Art of the Landscape is an international open call for photographers ages 18 and older. All forms of two-dimensional images, traditional and non-conventional media, and conventional or alternative photographic processes with a subjective analog or digital photographic base are welcome for submission.

Call For Photography: In the Nude
In the Nude is a photography exhibition that strips away pretense to confront the raw, unapologetic beauty of the human body. From the divine proportions of antiquity to the stark vulnerability of contemporary flesh, these works expose the nude not as an object to be idealized, but as a living canvas of desire, defiance, and truth.
In the Nude is an international open call for photographers ages 18 and older. All forms of two-dimensional images, traditional and non-conventional media, and conventional or alternative photographic processes with a subjective analog or digital photographic base are welcome for submission.

About
This call invites submissions for single photographs and series of photographic works that focus on queer joy, in all its forms, to be shown as part of the exhibition Lost and Found by artist Matthew Finley at the Los Angeles Center of Photography (LACP), October 2-November 1, 2025.
In this moment, as the US marks a decade since legalizing gay marriage, and when people in power insist on marginalizing, isolating and denouncing LGBTQ+ communities, LACP insists on elevating love and acceptance.
In the spirit of the exhibition’s attempt to both imagine a world where no queer person feels ashamed for who they love and explore the nuances of human connection, this call seeks to highlight and demand visibility for LGBTQ+ voices, while celebrating an authentic experience of life, rooted in joy that is both specific to the queer community and universal.
