Neoteric Abstract is a thematic exhibition dedicated to abstract art that is open for entry to all artists working in any media. The exhibition will be held at the Limner Gallery, April 10  – May 3, 2025 and is open to all forms of abstraction, from the geometric to the lyrical, from the precise to the raw. The entry deadline is January 31, 2025.

The Mary Blair Award for Art honors exceptional artists’ work across various media. With a prize of $1,000, this award is constantly seeking new and fresh artist perspectives to create a dialogue with our audience. Works can be stand-alone pieces or part of a larger series. Artists may submit up to five (5) pieces per submission.

Please be sure to:

• include your name, address, phone number, and email address when submitting
• include available art credits: title, medium, dimensions, year
• ensure submissions are rendered in an easily accessible format such as .jpg
• ensure submissions are at least 300 dpi
• provide a 50-word bio
• make sure your Submittable profile is up-to-date

The contest submission fee is $20, which includes a free copy of the latest edition of Reed Magazine. (Please note that submitters with US addresses on file will receive print copies of the journal, whereas those with overseas addresses will receive digital copies.) Multiple submissions are accepted as separate entries. Contest submissions not selected for final judging may still be considered for publication in the magazine. The winner of the Mary Blair Award may have a portfolio of their work featured online or in the journal (as space permits). Contest pieces may be considered for the cover.

The Bold Colors theme accepts all mediums and styles, e.g., Traditional Art, Mixed Media, Digital Art, Sculpture and Photography. Be part of this vibrant and impactful spectrum of hues, explore intense reds, vibrant blues, and electric yellows, let your creativity soar. Showcase your compelling and controversial pieces in this influential show.

The winner will receive $100 USD, a professionally designed certificate and extensive media promotion. The 2nd and 3rd prize will receive media posts, newsletter blast and a certificate. Honorable Mentions and finalists will also be awarded certificates for their talent. All winners will be exhibited in the Blue Koi Online Art Exhibition alongside hundreds of the world’s best contemporary artists.

Entry Fee: 15 for 1 image /25 for 4 images and 30 for 6 images.
