About the Exhibition: In 2026, The United States of America celebrates the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. We take a moment to contemplate the meanings behind these treasured words. What do they mean to us as artists in America today? Artists are asked to submit work that reflects upon the past, envisions the future or speaks to our present experiences. Artwork might explore ideas of migration and American-ness or fully expressing one’s identity in the framework of the “American Dream.”
Eligibility: Open nationally to artists of all backgrounds and ages. All mediums are welcome. All work submitted should be display ready. Please note that no giclée prints of original art/non-photographic art will be accepted. No AI please.
Please note if artwork is interactive.
Submission Guidelines:
- Artists may submit up to three pieces of original artwork for consideration.
- Work must have been made within the last two years.
- The suggested maximum dimensions are 4′ x 4′ x 4′. If you would like to submit a larger piece, please contact us at info@accigallery.com.
- Submissions must be accompanied by a brief artist statement (50-100 words) explaining the inspiration and significance of the artwork. This statement may be displayed alongside the artwork in the exhibition.
