Contemporary Art Room Gallery is proud to announce their 8th “Black & White” Online Art Competition for the month of June 2025. This is an international competition and artists from around the world are welcome to submit their work. Black & White theme in this competition will be strictly applied and only works of art created in black, white and or shades of gray will be accepted. All visual art mediums are acceptable (painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, digital, prints, fiber art, collage or installation art) except sound and video art. Winning artwork (First place) will be on the poster of the show. Depending on the number and quality of all submissions received, Merit awards and Honorable Mention awards may also be presented. The deadline to apply to this art competition is June 12, 2025.

Abstract Art Competition
We are pleased to announce our fourth Abstract online Art Competition for the month of June 2025. You are welcome to submit your best nonrepresentational works in all mediums and concepts. All visual art mediums are allowed. In addition to the selected artists, the jury will select award winners in the following art categories: painting, photography, sculpture. All selected artists will receive a digital award certificate. An article about each artist will be displayed alongside the best of show and three winners. The best of show will be displayed on the poster of the exhibition. Judging the artwork will be based on the following criteria: creativity, originality and quality of art, overall design, demonstration of artistic ability, and usage of medium. The jury will not consider artworks with pornographic or satanic content. Entry fees are $20 for two pieces of artwork. You may submit more than two images; there is no limit to the number of images an artist may submit. The application deadline is June 04, 2025.

In decades since their debut, GIFs have matured into a sophisticated and recognized art form, some of the best of which uses collage as its technique and genre. Kolaj Institute is seeking submissions from artists with a practice of making animated GIFs for a program at Kolaj Fest New Orleans where selected artworks will be screened at an Evening Event. After the festival, the artworks will be exhibited in an Online Exhibition that will open on 15 July 2025 on Kolaj Institute’s website.

Water nourishes, cleanses, and renews. A drop of water can save a life. A torrent of water can destroy it. Water moves along the path of least resistance, yet can carve mountains. It can take the form of solid, liquid, and vapour. The meanings of water run deep across cultures and time, as seen in rituals, myths, and modern narratives. Reveal your visions of WATER—through images, words, or any 2D medium that invites us to see what we haven’t noticed before or evokes a sense of freedom in interpretation.
ArtAscent is a theme-based publication and online exhibition that showcases artists and writers from around the world practising a broad range of skills, including painting, illustration, photography, mixed media, ceramics, sculpture, textile, jewelry, printmaking, digital graphics, fashion, film, video, installation, performance, story writing and poetry writing.
The selected artists and writers, up to 40, will be published in our print and digital magazine and the two-year online exhibition, as well as receive a free digital copy of the magazine. Four will also receive a feature section with a profile written about them. All benefit from professional portfolio presentation to art lovers and engage our readers through our social media, website, and print and digital issues. ArtAscent provides the opportunity for the voices and visions of writers and artists to be shared in a professional and accessible platform.
ArtAscent presents up to 100 high-level designed pages printed on premium-quality paper. This magazine issue is curated editorial content with no outside commercial ads.
Entries may include all art mediums that can be represented in 2D and written explorations of up to 1,800 words. We love diversity. Submissions must be the original work of the applicant(s). Creatives featured in the past can apply again with other works not previously published in ArtAscent. HOW TO APPLY: Apply using the online application form on our website. Application fees help cover costs such as design, writing, administration and artist promotion. NOTIFICATION: Notification is made by email to subscribers of the ArtAscent newsletter.
Botanicals Art Contest
Grey Cube Gallery proudly presents the sixth “Botanicals” online art contest for the month of June 2025. Contest is open to all artists worldwide over 18 years of age. The gallery invites artists and photographers to share their artistic vision using any work with interpretation of botanical and floral art (flowers, herbs, fruit, leaves, plants and related floral subcjects). All visual art mediums (except video and sound) are allowed. Best of Show artwork will be on the poster of the show. Winning artists (Merit Award & Honorable Mention) will receive a digital award certificate. The deadline to submit entries is the June 05, 2025.

UPWARD Gallery invites artists to submit artwork for our juried online exhibition, Weird.
All media is welcome, including: painting, drawing, digital painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, textiles, mixed media, etc.
Awards: Interview and other publications in our print edition of UPWARD’s magazine and on the website, digital certificate, personal artist page on the gallery website. The exhibition will be promoted online on the our website and social media channels. All artists retain 100% of sales with inquiries directed to them.
