Description:
Pharmacopeia: noun. What does this term bring to your mind’s eye? Do you find yourself assembling an archive of substances, reflecting on memories of addiction, recovery, or relapse? Is your mind a panopticon of disorder, a chaotic realm of fear and loathing from which you yearn to breakthrough? Have you experienced ego death, or reached the summit of the fifth plateau? Have prescription medications granted you the time to get to know your spirit, body, and psyche better, to experience a semblance of neurotypicality? Do you employ recreational compounds in your practice, and if so, what is your molecule of choice? Depict your perception of a pharmacopeia as you envision, either under, between, or over the influence.

Terms of Entry:
Sales: Artwork must be listed for sale. The Chateau Gallery collects a 40% commission on sold artwork.
Copyright: Accepted artists grant The Chateau Gallery permission to use your work on our gallery’s website, social media accounts, and related promotional materials. Artists retain all copyright to their intellectual property.
Exhibition: Pharmacopeia is a physical exhibition, held under the public health mandates and governing laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Entry Fee: There is a $10 entry fee used to support the exhibition, promotional materials, and scheduled programming.

Contemporary Art Room Gallery is proud to announce their 3rd “City” Online Art Competition for the month of May. All winning artists will receive a digital award certificate. First, second and third place will be largely displayed with an article about the artist and their work. First place will be on the poster of the show. The City theme may include everything that is city related, (cityscapes, towns, urban scenes or any metropolitan subjects). A variety of interpretations of City theme can be submitted (representative, abstract, conceptional). All visual art mediums are acceptable (painting, photography, drawing, sculpture, digital, prints, fiber art, collage or installation art) except sound and video art. $15 for 2 images. 3rd Annual “5 Dollars, 5 Entries, 5 Winners” – Summer Special Art Competition
Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces an art call for the gallery’s 3rd Annual “5 Dollars, 5 Entries, 5 Winners” Summer Special Online art Competition.
The gallery invites all 2D and 3D artists, age 18+ (including photographers & digital artists) from around the world to make online submissions for possible inclusion in the Gallery’s “5 Dollar, 5 Entries, 5 Winners” Summer Special online group art exhibition. Artists can enter up to 5 entries, for $5.00 and the gallery will choose 5 overall winning artists from those who entered. An online exhibition will be held on the Light Space & Time website from July 5th through September 5th.

In this exhibition, BLUE is the HUE! So many intriguing shades of blue to work with including cyan, cobalt, cerulean, azure, navy, Prussian, indigo, periwinkle, royal, sapphire, steel, slate, sky or baby blue. Which ones inspire or challenge you? For this exhibit, the color BLUE should figure prominently in your work. Sculptural and 3D pieces are welcome.
Contemporary, expressionistic, abstract, exploratory, and/or experimental entries encouraged.
