Behold the power of red. After black and white, red is the first color that humans perceive. It’s the color babies see before any other and the first that those suffering from a brain injury start seeing again. One of the boldest colors in the spectrum, red stands out in artwork and grabs our attention more than any other color can.
Red, the color of our blood, vitality, and life force, it vastly communicates love, lust, heat, anger, majesty, passion, and power. And all at the same time warning us of danger, fear, rage, and aggression. All those red flags. Red has so much to say! Show us Seeing RED from your perspective.

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces an art call for the gallery’s 6th Annual “Patterns, Textures & Forms” Online Juried Art Competition for the month of September 2022.  The gallery invites all 2D and 3D artists (including photography and digital arts) from around the world to make online submissions for possible inclusion in the Gallery’s October 2022 online group art exhibition.   

The gallery encourages entries from artists (including photography & digital arts) regardless of where they reside to apply to this competition by submitting their best interpretation of the “Patterns, Textures & Forms” theme. Artists are invited to submit their best representational and/or abstract art. 

The #1 overall top winning artist will be the Best in Show winner of the exhibition. The Best in Show winner will receive a cash prize of $100.

The deadline to apply to this art competition is September 26, 2022.

A select number of artists will be chosen to send their work to the gallery for the in-person exhibition at our brick-and-mortar gallery.
