Digital Art, Assemblage and Hand Cut Paper Collage II is an exhibition that will focus on the various forms of digital art, paper collage and 3D assemblage. The exhibition will be held at the Limner Gallery from June 20 – July 13, 2024. Entry is open to all forms of digital art, paper collage, assemblages and combinations thereof.

New Visionary Magazine is a print & digital publication featuring contemporary artists, exclusive interviews with leading art world professionals, art career resources, and more. We are seeking artists from around the world to feature in this issue. Selected artists will have multiple images of their work featured, along with a custom article written about their work by our head writer.
New Visionary Magazine is brought to you by Visionary Art Collective, a New York City-based Contemporary Art & Artist Development company. Our mission is to uplift artists through magazine features, virtual exhibitions, podcast interviews, and our mentorship programs.
Issue 10 will be curated by Alfred González, visual artist and director of Gallery 71 in New York City. González was born and raised in Spanish Harlem, where most of his early photographs are taken. He attended Manhattanville College in Purchase NY, and Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY, studying urban design, architecture & photography. After opening Gallery 71 in 1994, González spent a little more than a decade dedicated solely to his artists’ success before adding himself to the gallery’s roster. Since then, approximately 35 of his images have since been included in the permanent collections of the following museums: Barack Obama Presidential Library/National Archives of the United States, Museum of the City of New York, The New York Historical Society, The Center for Creative Photography at the University of Arizona and recently El Museo del Barrio. Private collectors: President & Mrs. Barack Obama, Ms. Agnes Gund, President Emeritus MOMA, Actor, Writer, Director Spike Lee, Abbe Raven, Former CEO and Chairperson, A+E Networks/History Channel. Gallery 71 focuses on promoting fine works of art: paintings, limited-edition prints & photographs and sculptures. Eligibility: This opportunity is open to artists of all experience levels. Must be 18+ to submit. This is an open call with no specific theme. We are looking for a wide range of artwork to include.
We accept all 2D & 3D mediums, including painting, drawing, photography, digital, prints, fiber art, collage, mixed media, sculpture, ceramics, and installation art.
Submission info:
You may submit 3-4 images of your work for $25, 5-6 images for $28, or 7-8 images for $32.
If selected, we require a $35 publishing fee prior to the magazine’s release date.
You do not need to include the dates of artwork that you submit.
Selected artists will have a custom article written about their work and published in the magazine.
Requirements:
Please be sure to include high-quality images of your work, 300 DPI, minimum 800 pixels wide
All images must be cropped to show only the artwork (unless sculpture or ceramics)

Artist Statement, 300 words max
Files no larger than 10 MB

Artists will be notified within 3-4 weeks after submissions close.

“Exploring Domestic Spaces” Juried Exhibition
The City of Santa Clarita (City) is inviting artists to submit artwork for consideration for our upcoming “Exploring Domestic Spaces” juried exhibition, which will be on view at the Newhall Community Center. We are seeking original artwork in any medium that delves into the nuances of everyday living environments. Artwork should reveal stories and emotions embedded within personal spaces, defining our sense of home.
DATES AND DEADLINES:
- Deadline to Apply: October 28, 2024
- Exhibition Dates: December 19, 2024 – March 19, 2025
- Artwork Drop-off: December 19, 2024, 10:30-11:00am
- Artwork Pick-up: March 20, 2025, 10:00-10:30am

Artists will be notified of juried results roughly two weeks after the deadline.
The City’s Arts and Events reserves the right to change the project timeline.
ELIGIBILITY:
- All hanging artwork must be properly wired
- Maximum size 40” x 50” (including frame)
- Maximum weight: 20lbs
- Artwork previously exhibited with the City will not be considered
- Mailed artwork will not be accepted
- Artists must physically hand-deliver and pickup their artwork
- Per ADA compliance, artwork cannot protrude more than four inches from the wall
- Acceptable mediums include: Painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, photography, textiles, performance, and mixed-media. Artists working with video, projection, or performers must provide their own equipment
- This call is open to artists regardless of race, color, religion, natural origin, gender, age, military status, sexual orientation, marital status, or physical or mental disabilities
SALES OF ARTWORK:
Each respective artist will be responsible for handling the sale of their own artwork included in this exhibition. The City of Santa Clarita or its employees will not be responsible for the sale of artwork. In the event the City is approached by an interested buyer, the City will provide the interested buyer’s information to the artist who will then execute the sale of their own artwork. There is no comission due to the City.
CITY POLICY:
Per City policy, our contract states that artwork must be on display during the duration of the exhibit, and cannot be removed earlier. This is standard procedures and expectations within the arts industry for exhibits. We proudly offer multiple exhibits around the City for local and nonresidents to showcase their artwork free of charge, in return we ask that our City’s policies are respected. Early removal of artwork before the exhibit has ended will affect an artist’s ability to participate in future opportunities with the City of Santa Clarita’s art exhibits programs.
