Call for Artists: The 13th annual JTNP Art Expo juried exhibition seeks artwork depicting or inspired by Joshua Tree National Park or its cultural history. Three art categories: 2-Dimensional, 3-Dimensional, Photography. Entry fee $35 for 3 artworks. Ocean III Virtual Art Residency
Moku Art Studio and MANGO have partnered for the Third Ocean Virtual Artist Residency. This collaborative program empowers participating artists to embark on the journey of developing a new project aligned with the residency’s thematic focus: OCEAN
There will be 5 virtual meetings among all the international participating artists under the guidance of a member of a Moku Art Studio and/or MANGO team. These sessions are dedicated to the inception and refinement of your artist project. Each meeting will feature suggested prompts designed to foster introspection and illuminate connections between artists’ projects.
We are delighted to announce that the Ocean Virtual Art Residency has been endorsed as an activity by UNESCO’s UN Ocean Decade. Being an endorsed activity brings increased visibility, including the Ocean Decade Network, and the chance to contribute to a global, collaborative effort aimed at achieving a healthy and sustainable ocean.

Call for Submissions: Art in Action New York 2025
We invite artists, performers, designers, and professionals in creative fields to participate in Art in Action New York 2025. Art in Action aims to explore new ways of showcasing art and creative projects while providing meaningful experiences and professional networks for artists, enthusiasts, and local and international audiences. Through challenges, collaboration, and commitment, we hope to inspire a new cultural movement, blurring boundaries between cultural creators from different backgrounds and languages, as well as between creators and consumers.
[Art in Action New York 2025]
Art in Action New York 2025 is a one-day event featuring talks, performances, artworks, and pop-up booths. Each presenter will have 20 minutes to showcase their work, including talks, presentations, performances, and/or experimental workshops.
Presenters will also have the opportunity to showcase and sell their work during the event. Each presenter will be assigned one booth table. Items for sale may include artworks, prints, publications, design products, stationery, and other creative goods.
Artists’ promo videos and event footage will be shared on social media. The event is organized by CICA Museum and will take place in the Manhattan area of New York on December 20, 2025. Presenters will meet online in advance to prepare for the show, and our team will announce the schedule.
Presenters will also be featured in the upcoming book New Media Art 2027, expected to be released in full-color paperback in December 2026.
[Exhibition] “Art in Action: Concurrent Show 2025” at the CICA Museum
Participating artists will be invited to the group show, Art in Action: Concurrent Show, at the CICA Museum in Korea from December 3rd to December 28th, 2025. CICA Museum staff will install artworks on behalf of the artists. Each participating artist may exhibit up to two works. Participation is optional. Additional fees may apply if a work exceeds the specified size limits or requires additional installation requirements.

Sales Associate
The MOCA Store Sales Associate provides customer service, completes sales transactions, maintains the physical appearances of stores, and completes opening and closing procedures. The Sales staff follows daily performance guidelines provided by management and are expected to work collegially as part of the Retail Operations Department.
This is a part-time position requiring you to work onsite. Weekend work will be required.
Essential Functions:
- Work closely with the Sales Manager, Retail Coordinator, Webstore, Shipping Coordinator, and fellow Sales Associates.
- Use your creative eye to maintain unique shop displays.
- Interact positively with museum staff, donors, and museum visitors.
- Meet and greet customers.
- Guide and assist customers with sales of our unique selection of products and publications.
- Grow knowledge of art books and products.
- Operate Point of Sale cash registers with accuracy and process special orders.
- Complete clear and accurate end of day sales reports.
- Maintain communication with supervisors and colleagues.
- Assist in all aspects of keeping the MOCA Store looking smart, sophisticated, interesting and well organized.
- Promote sales of Museum Memberships through the Store and process appropriate paperwork. Interact with the public and answer or direct questions regarding the Museum.
- Have a neat and professional appearance according to MOCA Store dress code.
Requirements:
- Effective customer service-oriented interpersonal skills.
- Promptness and reliability are essential.
- Accuracy in cash handling.
- Prior retail experience is preferred.
- Availability to work Saturdays or Sundays, plus two additional weekdays with the opportunity to work additional hours.
- Ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of, or interest in contemporary art.
Hourly Rate: $18.97 per hour

Physical Demands:
While performing the essential functions of this job, the incumbent must be able to do the following: stand for extended periods; bend and reach for filing and other job-related functions; climb up and down stairs; bend, stoop, and lift to move and retrieve materials; pull, push, and lift; reach both above and below shoulder height. Specific visual abilities include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to visually inspect work. Manual dexterity to operate computer and other office equipment required. Heavy usage of computers and phones required.
