Arte Natura is a thematic exhibition based on art inspired by the natural world. The exhibition will be held at the Limner Gallery, May 13 – June 5, 2021 and is open to all artists working in any media. All interpretations of the theme are acceptable, including landscape, fruits, vegetables, flowers and fauna and human figuration as part of the natural environment. $500 cash award. Call for Local LA Artists: Art of the Month
Altadena Arts is announcing a Request for Proposals for Artists for a fundraising program to support Altadena Arts’ public art, arts education, and arts festival programs titled Art of the Month Club. The Deadline is December 22, 2020.
We are seeking new and original artworks for paper measuring 8 ½” x 11” that can be reproduced on premium archival matte paper for use as a fundraiser for our programs. 12 artists will be selected. $500 stipend will be paid to each artist.
There are no limitations regarding the content or genre or style. Figurative or abstract or conceptual works are welcomed as long as the work is created for 8 ½” x 11” paper.
Altadena Arts is encouraging Artists who work or live in Altadena, East Pasadena, Pasadena, Sierra Madre, South Pasadena, Arcadia, San Marino, La Cañada-Flintridge and/or Monrovia, but Artists from throughout Los Angeles county are welcome to submit an application. Applications outside of Los Angeles county are not eligible.
Selected artists should be prepared to hand-sign each print and return before the deadline provided to each artist. A peer review panel of professional artists and/or arts professionals will review each proposal.

Body Mind Art (one-day workshop)
The Body Mind Art experience will provide an opportunity to relax through a moment of guided meditation and express your feelings with watercolor.
This 1.5-hour workshop will be held via Zoom and is provided by ARTiClass by Agora Gallery, a contemporary art gallery located in the heart of Chelsea NY, since 1984.
This unique and professional workshop will enable you to find calmness and embody a sense of stillness from the very talented and experienced instructor, Carisa Bledsoe, while interacting & getting encouragement from other art lovers from all over the world!

2nd Watercolor Art Competition
Fusion Art invites submissions for the 2nd Watercolor Online Art Competition.
For this 16th Quarterly Art Competition, artists, worldwide, are encouraged to submit their best watercolor artwork. The competition is open to all artists working in water media regardless of location or experience. Paintings must be two-dimensional and must consist of water-based media on paper or synthetic paper surface.
Water media includes watercolor, acrylic, ink, gouache, casein, egg tempera, watercolor pencil and watercolor crayon. Pastel or collage may be used as long as water-media is the dominant element.
The work can range from realism to surrealism to abstraction and all artists, regardless of location or experience, are encouraged to submit their best representational or abstract art in any subject matter.
A three-month group online exhibition will be featured on the Fusion Art website starting December 15, 2020.
Best in Show and 2nd through 5th Place awards will be given. The Best in Show winners will be invited to Fusion Art’s 5th Annual Group Show in Palm Springs in 2021.
