ELIGIBILITY
This call is open to artists worldwide, both amateur and professional. Work that has been selected for previous exhibits with Art Fluent will not be considered.
RULES
Work that is copied or done under the guidance of an instructor is not eligible. Open to ALL fine art mediums (oil, acrylic, watermedia, pastel, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, photography, sculpture, fiber, wood, digital art) except film/video.
SELECTION PROCESS
Director’s choice. Each show is curated and juried by Creative Director, Amy Matteson Neill along with an anonymous committee of jurors. Please note, there is no personal feedback given by jurors.
ENTRY PROCEDURE
Entry is done through CaFÉ, a web-based service that allows artists to upload images and organize their artwork for submissions to galleries. To apply for a call, you must leave our website and go to the CaFÉ website at www.callforentry.org where you can create a FREE artist account. You will add your details and upload your images to CaFÉ and then you can submit work to WANDERLUST. If you have any questions, please contact us at hello@art-fluent.com we are happy to walk you through the process.
MEDIA PREPARATION
All images must be in JPEG format using CaFÉ guidelines. The image size must be 1,200 pixels or greater on the longest side. Maximum file size is 5 mb.
NOTIFICATION
Notification will be done by email, everyone who submits will be notified of the juror’s selections. If for any reason you do not hear from us by the notification date, please check the filters in your email account. Notification emails are sent to the email on file with CaFÉ.
SALES
All sales inquiries will be directed to the artist’s website. For any artwork that is sold, the artists receive 100% of the sale.
GIVING BACK
A portion of the proceeds from the entry fees is donated to organizations committed to the arts and supporting artists.
REQUIRED FORMS
Cash awards over $600 are subject to federal income tax withholding within the United States. A W-9 form must be filled out by the winner and submitted to Art Fluent, Inc.

By entering our calls for art through CaFÉ you are agreeing to be added to Art Fluent’s email list for forthcoming artist opportunities. By submitting images, you agree that the images are your own work, nothing copied, you own all rights to the images, and you take full responsibility for the content of all images, including the likeness of recognizable individuals. The actual artwork will remain the property of the artist, our mission is to promote artists and their work. Systems Administrator
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Information Technology, The Systems Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day management, implementation and maintenance of the museums Wide Area Network as well as the Local Area Network technology infrastructure at both museum locations. This person will also provide hands-on technical aiding to museum staff at all levels, troubleshoot software and hardware issues, install, configure, maintain related systems, and schedule equipment maintenance, repairs and maintain an updated hardware inventory. The Systems Administrator is also the primary contact for all consultants and third-party vendors.
Essential Functions:
- Serve as the primary Systems administrator, ensuring the 24/7 high availability and reliability of the museum’s VMWARE Virtualized Network infrastructure, including Windows Servers, SQL Servers, network devices, laptops, and desktop workstations.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on workstations, laptops, servers, and network devices.
- Manage a Windows Network with complex VLAN infrastructure at the highest level, wired HP Switches and Ruckus Wireless networking devices infrastructure.
- Configure and deploy end-user workstations, laptops, and mobile devices as needed.
- Setup and configure new and used computers as well as Windows and macOS laptops to museum established standards.
- Maintain organized network and inventory documentation. Complete annual inventory.
- Stay up to date on current network and device management best practices and trends via ongoing training and attending workshops, seminars and reviewing published information.
- Implementation and management of a Mobile Device Manage (MDM) for a large presence of Apple MacBooks using tools such as Mosyle MDM, Apple Remote Desktop or equivalent cloud remote service apps.
- Configure and troubleshoot museum technologies hardware such as Printers, Copiers, Scanners, etc.
- Manage weekly and nightly data backups using Veeam Backup and Replication and assures backups are successful.
- Manage a hybrid VoIP phone system and assist with troubleshooting technical issues with a representative of the Security Dept’s NVR system.
- Maintain cloud web/content filtering SaaS (Forcepoint), Webroot Antivirus Protection Software, SonicWall firewalls, Cloud and security appliances and solutions.
- Install, configure, patch, and upgrade operating systems and software for windows OS, macOS and Android OS.
Troubleshoot a TCP/IP physical and virtual network connection including printing configuration. - Assist the Senior Manager of Information Technology with technology planning, project management, managing third party vendors and consultants.
- Provide general Help Desk expertise to museum staff including The MOCA Store POS, front-line Box-Office staff with the Online Ticketing System (Altru) Monday through Friday but not limited to weekend.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing a complex Information Technology environment in a VMWare Network infrastructure and Windows Servers required.
- Extensive experience supporting Google Workspace, (Gmail Admin) Google Drive and other Google Flatforms required.
- Experience servicing MS Office 365 and Office 2019 required.
- Experience with managing Cloud Apps, such as Webroot Antivirus, Workforce Web Filtering Content Management, Fresh Services Help Desk and inventory Systems, Adobe Creative Cloud and other SaaS required.
- Experience in servicing Digital Asset Management Systems, NCR Point Of Sale Systems (CounterPoint), Collection Management Systems (TMS) Online and App Ticking System (Altru) desired.
- Experience with managing Windows Servers, Domain Controllers, on-Premises and Azure Active Directory, wired and wireless network infrastructure required.
- Experience with Mobile Device Management systems (MDM) preferred.
- Experience with API, PCI compliance standard- fundamentals desired.
- Experience with macOS, Windows OS and Android OS environments required.
- Strong customer service, problem-solving, initiative-taking, team-making, and organizational skills required.

Assistant, Director’s Office
The Assistant, Director’s Office reports to the Senior Manager, Director’s Affairs and works closely with The Maurice Marciano Director of MOCA to provide a wide scope of day-to-day administrative assistance for the Director’s Office. This position will assist with scheduling and meeting organization, handling off-site needs, maintaining the office, and performing a range of general administrative duties. This role collaborates with colleagues across departments, serves as a face of the Director’s Office internally and externally, and provides assistance for various projects as they arise.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a great degree of professionalism and discretion; possess a flexible, positive, and passionate work ethic; have exceptional organizational skills; and be extremely detail-oriented. Interest in art history, arts administration, and/or Advancement is preferred.
Essential Functions
- Directly assist the Senior Manager, Director’s Affairs on any and all projects, and work closely with The Maurice Marciano Director as needed
- Assist complex scheduling: correspond with participants, make reservations, coordinate logistics, welcome guests, answer invitations, track deadlines, produce itineraries
- Perform general administrative duties such as data entry, answering phones, organizing files, sending gifts, research, and sorting mail
- Prepare expense reports, and handle various administrative paperwork
- Maintain the Director’s Office by ordering supplies, keeping the space presentable, and implementing organizational systems
- Assist with travel, Advancement projects, research, and other duties as assigned
- Represent the Director’s Office with utmost professionalism at all times
- Occasionally helps with museum events, including working on evenings and weekends on a case-by-case basis

Junior Advancement Associate, Membership
The Junior Advancement Associate, Membership is responsible for providing a high level of hospitality to members, overseeing membership’s day-to-day operations, identifying opportunities for improving member acquisition and renewal processes, producing Advancement events, and developing effective membership-related communications. Reporting to the Senior Advancement Associate, Philanthropic Programs, the position plays a key role in the success of MOCA’s membership program, ranging in gifts from $30 to $10,000.
Essential Functions:
Stewardship
- Build relationships through written and in-person communication with members.
- Serve as the first point of contact for members. Respond promptly to membership inquiries in an efficient and friendly manner.
Member Operations
- Develop and advise on areas to increase membership revenue. Report monthly revenue figures to the Deputy Director, Advancement and the Senior Advancement Associate, Philanthropic Programs.
- Create and implement membership training and incentives for front of house staff in order to sell and promote memberships.
- Track membership expenses.
Events
- In partnership with the Associate Director, Donor Events and Programs, responsible for production, execution and budget of all member events, including openings, dinners, and off-site events.
- Hire and supervise outside vendors, including caterers, rental companies, florists, and entertainment.
- Oversee event RSVPs and check-in, including training and managing support staff.
- Work closely and coordinate with all appropriate Museum departments, surrounding businesses, and government agencies in preparation for events.
- Interface with all agencies that have jurisdiction to ensure that events comply with city regulations.
Communications
- Develop and implement member acquisition campaigns, gift membership campaigns, and other marketing initiatives.
- Report campaign results to the Deputy Director, Advancement and Sr. Advancement Associate, Philanthropic Programs
- Manage all membership communications, including digital and printed welcome packages, renewal letters, invitations, and newsletters.
- Oversee the membership gift acknowledgement process.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Problem-solving, research, and analytical skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Proven event management expertise with the ability to take an event from conception through completion. Project management skills are a plus.
- Solid relationship-building skills and ability to interface with external constituents.

- Ability to work independently while being an integral member of a high-functioning team.

- Frontline experience in individual gift fundraising and in cultivating and soliciting prospects capable of gifts up to $10,000.
- General knowledge and interest in contemporary art..
- Minimum of three years of fundraising and event experience, preferably in a non-profit arts organization.
Bachelor’s degree in Art, Art History, Communications, English, Fundraising, or a related field required. - Weekend and evening work required.
