Destiny Arts Center’s mission is to inspire and ignite social change through the arts. For over 35 years, Destiny has been committed to supporting young people as they develop their skills as artists, global citizens, and advocates for peace in their communities and beyond. Through dance and martial arts, young people learn to perform and express themselves, overcome challenges, and connect with others. Destiny partners with over 40 schools and organizations each year to bring programs to young people. At our North Oakland arts center, we offer pay-what-you-can afterschool, weekend, and summer programs. The primary responsibilities of Destiny Arts Center’s Communications Associate is to support the growth and awareness of the public’s knowledge and understanding of Destiny’s programs and mission, expand the organization’s visibility locally and nationally, and develop and realize methods to communicate with our current audience and build new ones. Supported by a marketing strategy consultant, Executive Director, program staff, Marketing and Development Committee of the board and others as identified.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
● Execute cross-channel marketing and communications strategy for institutional and programmatic marketing to ensure audience development, increased enrollment, fundraising initiatives, and promotion of artistic programming.
● Create visuals (photos, graphics and/or video) and post content on all social channels, email communications, website and print collateral according to a marketing plan in collaboration with Destiny colleagues.
● Create and/or collect stories from program participants, families, and partners in all programs
● Create awareness and demand, documentation, and livestreaming for Destiny events
● Oversee branding and messaging consistency across all platforms, channels and departments using style guide.
● Work to develop and amplify youth voice in Destiny marketing materials and communications.
● Lead the content management of the website, ensuring content is inline with current organization priorities, events and programs
● Work with marketing committee to align on site functionality updates and to flag website bugs/issues
● Maintain all social media and marketing accounts
● Manage email software and ensure quality of lists in collaboration with Development and Finance Associate
● Archive and maintain Destiny Media, collateral, and press files
● Provide digital assets based on outside requests

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
● Superb written and verbal communication skills, excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and with others.
● Familiarity with digital content management including knowledge of file formats for diverse publication platforms. Adobe software or other tools for image and video editing is preferred.
● A compelling and persuasive writer, an effective copywriter with a strong understanding of organizational voice.
● A commitment to the power of art as a vehicle for social change and youth empowerment.
● Excellent project management skills and comfortability managing multiple projects with different timelines
● Strong initiative and enthusiasm, and willingness to pitch in whenever needed.
● At least 2 years of experience in marketing or communications work in a professional environment with a preference for candidates with experience in social service, youth-focused, community health, and/or arts organizations.

Summary:
The Development Projects Coordinator is a key position in SCI-Arc’s fundraising activities. The Coordinator is responsible for grant writing and administration, gift processing and database management. The qualified candidate will demonstrate strong writing/storytelling skills, and an aptitude and interest in donor/funder/sponsor cultivation, stewardship, and solicitation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Grant writing and administration
- Write compelling proposals and thorough reports for foundation, government and corporate funders
- Provide essential project management, budget management, reporting, and documentation of externally funded projects
- Manage a portion of SCI-Arc’s portfolio of grant funders

CICA Museum invites artists worldwide to participate in “Nature 2024,” the International Exhibition. We are open to photography, 2D digital art, video art, interactive art, painting, sculpture and installation art dealing nature, environmental issues, human versus nature, and/or human nature.

DCA is seeking experienced and talented graphic / digital designers to provide design services for various DCA digital / web-based materials. Individuals selected for the prequalified roster will be eligible to bid on specific projects including: Annual Reports; Heritage Month Calendars and Cultural Guides; Program Brochures; Art Exhibition Catalogs and Didactics; Requests for Qualifications; Requests for Proposals; Event Marketing Materials; Program Logos; Websites and Website Initiatives and Exhibitions Pages; Social Media Assets; and other print and digital / web items as needed. Venice Arts seeks a full-time Program Outreach + Opportunities Coordinator for its Art Mentoring Programs (AMP) for youth, including Media Arts Education and Creative Pathways. Working under the AMP Program Manager, roles include coordinating all elements of youth and family outreach, ensuring that the process is efficient and effective; building relationships with community partners and serving as the key partner liaison; coordinating student opportunities, including awards, competitions, and scholarships; and ensuring timely direct-to-youth and parent communications. OUTREACH + RECRUITMENT
● Maintain the outreach calendar, planning key dates for outreach activities and events throughout the year
● Develop outreach strategies and contacts, building strong relationships with schools, teachers, and community partners to meet enrollment goals

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
The ideal Program Outreach + Opportunities Coordinator is a media-based artist; background in photography a plus, with prior experience in community-based arts education preferred. They are well-organized, detail oriented, and a self sufficient troubleshooter. They are proficient with Apple computers and iPads; talent with design and experience with Adobe Suite, a plus. They are personable, have excellent communication skills, and are comfortable working with a wide range of individuals, including youth ages 10-18, families, and partners. The ideal Coordinator is experienced with a variety of business software used for data entry, spreadsheets, and file management; familiar with Google Drive and G Suite required, and experience with Filemaker Pro and/or AirTable a strong preference. Candidates must be able to lift up to 40 pounds. This position requires someone who is bilingual in English-Spanish; strong writing skills in Spanish a plus.
