Yucca Valley Material Lab (YVML) provides accessible and equitable arts education and is a platform that expands cultural awareness. YVML believes that artistic expression occurs when we afford ourselves time to explore without expectations or intent. Through residencies, instructional workshops and public programming, we encourage artists to take the time necessary to develop new skills and investigate new modes of making through iterative material exploration. YVML is dedicated to creating an alternative place for thinking, making, experiencing and freely disseminating knowledge outside of the traditional context of higher education.
