Project Description

To continue providing a multicultural performance arts curriculum for under-resourced schools and their students during the school day.
CAC funding would be utilized for general operating costs; especially professional Teaching Artist fees.

Organization Summary

Young Imaginations provides music and/or dance instruction to students from grades Pre-K to 5th grade.
Curriculum focus is given to multicultural expressions of music and dance.
Classes take place throughout the school year and are taught by professional Teaching Artists.
Our additional priority is to provide arts education to underserved youth from economically disadvantaged communities… which, throughout the organizations history has been approximately 80% of the students served in our programs.
