VOMB’s has three main activities at its core: investigative reporting, dynamic storytelling in a platform open to Monterey Bay residents that have not been given the opportunity to speak to issues that concern them.

The second core activity is an instructional component that with ongoing journalism training by veteran reporters and editors. The training will be available free to interested adults and youth, with the expectation that the work they produce will be featured at VOMB.org

The third component is bringing our magazine to live to pop-up magazines so our readers can interact with each other in an effort to foster dialogue and improve understadning of critical issues in the region.
