With support from the California Arts Council, URBAN VOICES PROJECT will provide music engagement programs to Skid Row residents marginalized by homelessness, mental health issues and unemployment, using music as a bridge to community, health and social services. These include community singing workshops, Performance Choir, Music Education, and Music Wellness.
To place music & singing community spaces in every medical and social service site across Los Angeles, to create community and a more comprehensive, holistic system for engaging individuals coping with the conditions of homelessness.
