Project Description

Atrium 916 is a Creative Innovation Center for Sustainability, building a kind, creative, and sustainable future for all beings. We provide economic opportunity and professional support for the creative community while building environmental leaders. We assist with the formulation of new mission driven artists, eco-friendly products, and creative service ideas that formulate a sustainable creative circular economy.

Atrium 916 is a collaborative community of creative artists and entrepreneurs who are aligned on the idea of doing business for good. The Atrium is a hub of creative studios and coworking, where creatives come to connect, be inspired, collaborate, and innovate towards the omni-considerate future this planet needs

As the intersection of creativity, entrepreneurship, and environmental stewardship, with impactful art experiences, products, solutions, support and events, we listen intently to our creative community and find ways to engineer their sustainable, community driven ideas.

The Sacramento region has creatives, desperate for resources to help their unconventional business ideas and community solutions flourish. Lack of spaces that enable artists and creatives to make, sell, exhibit, or perform their work, inhibit the growth and evolution of the sector.

We understand that traditional barriers of entry such as economic hardship, language, exposure, upbringing and education continue to be challenges for this community and why support systems, technical services, and capacity-building programs is needed to better equip our local Sacramento creatives for success.

The Atrium, is a kind community gathering space for engagement in artistic learning, leadership and environmental stewardship for all, elevating the creative economy to build a kind, creative, sustainable planet. Located in historic Old Sacramento, available and accessible to all, 6 days a week. We serve over 650 creatives in the greater Sacramento region and have provided educational interactions and art installations to over 500K people since our inception.
