With support from the California Arts Council, UCSB Arts & Lectures will provide thousands of students from across Santa Barbara County–including many who are traditionally underserved–with access to notable artists and thought leaders via the Arts Adventure Bus-In program. The Arts Adventure Program leverages A&L’s impressive rosters of artists and lecturers so that up to 6,000 K-12 students can be inspired and informed by their artistry/wisdom, all no cost to the schools that participate.
At the forefront of Scholarship in the Humanities and Fine Arts: From the English Broadside Ballad Archive to the Center for the Study of Work, Labor and Democracy, UC Santa Barbara is home to 24 dedicated research centers and academic initiatives, as well as four performance programs in theater and dance and 25 musical groups, ensembles and choirs.
