The programmatic arts organization is the Department of Art within the College of Arts & Letters at CSUSB. The mission is to provide students with tools for success in a world that values written and oral communication skills, analysis, critical thinking, and creativity. The Art Department strives to inspire creativity and innovation through artistic and intellectual inquiry.

University Enterprises Corporation at CSUSB (“UEC”) is the legal applicant. CSUSB depends upon UEC to provide services that cannot be supported with state funds. Although UEC is a legally separate 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, it is a fully integrated part of the CSUSB campus. UEC is responsible for business enterprises on campus. UEC serves as the grantee for federal, state and local funding for research and sponsored projects.
