Oakland Theater Project’s mission is to create exquisite theatrical experiences to inspire compassion and forge bonds across socio-economic and racial barriers. Oakland Theater Project tells underrepresented stories that matter and creates theatrical performances and trainings that intentionally bring diverse communities together. We produce works that seek to unite disparate groups, dismantle unconscious bias, and reverse harmful cultural and institutional norms.
