With support from the California Arts Council, Today’s Future Sound (a fiscal project of Oakland Parks & Recreation Foundation) in partnership with Rhythmic Mind (a 501c3 Hip Hop Therapy nonprofit organization) will deliver interdisciplinary, culturally-sustaining, & therapeutic Arts education to system-engaged youth in Alameda County Juvenile Hall. This trauma-informed and strengths-based project will build upon previous years of work utilizing the healing power of Hip Hop music & culture.
Interdisciplinary, cross-cultural, therapeutic, arts education through beat making and music production that builds confidence, inspires creativity, and helps individuals create positive change.
