The mission of Theatre Of Hearts Inc. is to promote understanding between people through cultural and artistic forums, and to empower local communities through education in the arts.
The Youth First Artist-In-Residence Program was initiated in 1992 to prevent and intervene in youth violence through ongoing, high quality, standards-based, multidisciplinary arts education workshops for at-promise youth and offered at schools, Juvenile Halls and Camps, County Community Day Schools and Community-Based sites in under-served neighborhoods throughout Los Angeles County.
