The Roustabouts Theatre Co. (TRTC) brings local actors, directors, and playwrights to the forefront of San Diego theatre. Dedicated to entertaining, educating, and inspiring audiences, TRTC produces fresh visions of classics, well-known contemporary plays, and new works, with an ongoing commitment to introducing the theatrical art form to diverse audiences and underserved communities. The Roustabouts Theatre Co. (TRTC) is an itinerant theatre company that provides a vital service to San Diego County. Since inception, TRTC has been critically applauded for the social justice conversations that the company leads and includes in programming.

TRTC’s working board members and staff have grown the company’s presence in San Diego and nationally by presenting theatrical works and readings that delve into societal issues and focus on the human condition. The intention is to invite audiences to see the world through the lens of others, to consider the stories the company produces with an open mind and engage in inclusive reflections and discussions.
