Still Here San Francisco brings together queer artists of different ages and racial backgrounds to examine historical and contemporary issues such as displacement, marginalization, and AIDS. Still Here’s multidisciplinary events employ the arts to build strong LGBTQ+ communities by examining the experiences of current San Francisco Bay Area LGBTQ+ residents who grew up and came out here during the 1980s and 1990s.
