Storytelling Workshops, Film Productions, & Film Screenings for returned residents and community to tell stories and reimagine their futures through the power of filmmaking. Horse & Dog therapy incorporated in innovative approach for healing-centered storytelling. Jobs Training incorporated in Mentorship Program for reentry communities to develop skills to work in film industry.
Our core programs includes Storytelling Workshops, Film Production, Jobs Skills Training, Pardon Videos, and Dog & Horse Therapy. Our Storytelling Workshops enable participants to (re)tell their lived experience and thereby enable them to heal through the ability to imagine new futures and communities. The Workshops combine acting rehearsals and traditional screenwriting with dog and horse therapy to form an innovative method of storytelling that allows reentry participants to excavate new levels of intimacy and healing. Film Production results in narrative media to be preserved for future generations and iterations. Jobs Training is incorporated from pre-production, production, and post-production, paving avenues for reentry communities to develop skills to work in the fields of theatre, film and television. Pardon Videos are made in conjunction with legal services partnerships to protect reentry populations from deportation and stop the separation of families.
