Founded in San Jose, CA in 1994, Steinway Society – The Bay Area is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote excellence in piano performance and music education. Recognized as one of the gems in the cultural life in the Silicon Valley, Steinway Society arranges and produces piano concerts by nationally and internationally acclaimed artists, as well as conducts master classes, educational recitals in public schools and in-home, salon-style recitals. Each season slate consists of a series of public concerts that feature a range of culturally diverse artists that engage and attract the region’s multicultural population.
