Project Description
With support from the California Arts Council, SOUTH COAST DANCE ARTS ALLIANCE, INC will present 2 educational programs entitled “Dance – The Creative Process” and “Flight of the Imagination” to 4 high schools and 7 elementary schools in the Long Beach plus adjacent area. These programs aim to expose young students to tools and methods in the process of creating dance works. These under-served areas will, also, receive instruction from working professionals through master classes and workshops.
Organization Summary
South Coast Dance Arts Alliance presents dance performances, festivals, school residencies and workshops in dance. The Nannette Brodie Dance Theatre is the performing entity that carries out the teaching and performing projects for SCDAA.
