Project Description
With support form the California Arts Council, Self Help Graphics & Art will provide professional development opportunities for two of the three full-time staff members. The staff has been managing and operating the organization with a lean team of three full-time employees. Our employees need professional development support and learning opportunities to strengthen the various roles they play within the organization.
Organization Summary
Self Help Graphics serves 30,000 community members and upwards of 100 artists annually through our programming. That includes:
-Our curatorial offerings: Our Exhibitions and Archive, the Professional Printmaking Program, the Barrio Mobile Art Studio, and the Beyond the Press Artist Residency program
– Free and low-cost arts education programming for youth, families and individuals
– Free community arts programs such as our Dia de los Muertos programming and Wellness Wednesdays
