Project Description
Approved funds would be used toward (1) overhead costs to keep Scripps Theatre Arts from folding and (2) financially supporting reopening when rehearsals and live performances resume. The success of STA is indicative of the need for youth theatre in our community and these funds are essential to the organization.
Organization Summary
The core programs and services of Scripps Theatre Arts are to offer fully inclusive full-scale live theatre productions as well as workshops and classes that engage all youth in the various aspects of the art, including stage direction, vocal skills, set design and building, and costume design. Scholarships are offered to any youth that my not otherwise participate for financial reasons, ensuring access to Scripps Theatre Arts programs for all.
