Project Description
With Support from the California Arts Council Sanchez Art Center will provide VAPA standards-based art education to the only public school in Pacifica that, with its socio economic demographic, would otherwise not have art classes. The project provides all 430 students of Sunset Ridge Elementary with 15 lessons each year.

Sanchez Art Center envisions a community where art is accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds. We accomplish our mission and vision by providing free exhibitions by emerging and established California and west coast artists, arts education and community engagement on the San Mateo County coast, and affordable art studios for San Francisco Bay Area artists.
