Founded in 1997, the San Francisco Transgender Film Festival is the world’s first and longest-running transgender film festival. We build strong, thriving, diverse community by: providing opportunities for trans artists and audiences, supporting emerging and established trans filmmakers, fighting transphobic representation and under-representation of transpeople in film, and working for multi-racial gender justice in media arts.
