The Bay Area Theater Company (BATCO) produces live theater that authentically reflects the experiences of the Bay Area’s historically and currently marginalized communities. Our productions address social justice issues from a multi-racial, multi-gendered, intergenerational and intersectional perspective and provide theater workers of color as well as LGBTQ actors and technicians access to professional mentoring and paid employment opportunities.
