Project Description

With support from the California Arts Council, San Francisco Ballet (SFB) will provide full scholarships to talented and diverse pre-professional students. Funds would provide approximately twelve students with the opportunity to learn ballet at the SFB School, one of the world’s best ballet academies, via the SFB School Trainee Program.

Organization Summary

We perform ballets, provide a distinguished training ground for dancers, young and old, from around the world at San Francisco Ballet School. We also engage with the community in school outreach efforts, through our youth and family programs, and provide adult learning opportunities through our Adult Ballet and Ballet 101-202 classes, Pointes of View Lectures and Meet the Artist Interviews.
