Project Description

With support from the California Arts Council, SAN FRANCISCO BALLET will present Student Matinees, live ballet performances at the War Memorial Opera House for students with limited opportunities to experience this art form. We will carry out our Docent Program visits to students pre- & post-show to provide more in-depth teaching.

Organization Summary

We perform ballets, provide a distinguished training ground for dancers, young and old, from around the world at San Francisco Ballet School. We also engage with the community in school outreach efforts, through our youth and family programs, and provide adult learning opportunities through our Adult Ballet and Ballet 101-202 classes, Pointes of View Lectures and Meet the Artist Interviews.
