The mission of the San Fernando Valley Youth Chorus is to “promote musical excellence in children and provide children and youth of diverse ethnic, cultural, and economic backgrounds in the San Fernando Valley with the opportunity for artistic and personal growth through superior choral instruction, community outreach, and choral music performance.”
This has been our mission since 1999 and we practice and strengthen inclusion, diversity and equity in our recruitment, programming, leadership, music and arts selection, and outreach in our year-round services.
