With support from the California Arts Council, San Diego Dance Theater will provide a free 2-week summer intensive dance program for 125 students grades 6-12 at a public high school in Chula Vista. The program will culminate in a community performance. Many of these students may have the opportunity to attend a free weekly dance class and participate in seasonal performances at Dance Place Liberty Station. This program fosters extended, sequential learning and community building.
