The Sacramento Master Singers (SMS) is in its 37th year of presenting dynamic and diverse choral concerts under the direction of Dr. Ralph Hughes. SMS has been advancing the art of choral music in Northern California and beyond since 1982. Our goal is to delight, challenge and inspire audiences with choral premieres, new arrangements of classic songs, and visually engaging performances. SMS draws from an enormous variety of musical periods and styles — no two concerts are ever the same.

The mission of the Sacramento Master Singers is to:
• to provide audiences in the greater Sacramento area with world-class concerts that engage and inspire,
• to perform a diverse repertoire of music drawing on the best choral literature from early chant to avant-garde,
• to offer an opportunity to accomplished choral singers for musical growth, personal fulfillment and fellowship, and
• to ensure the advancement of the choral arts through outreach activities for area youth.
