With support from the California Arts Council, RYSE INC will launch Advanced Media Producers for the Future, an internship for 20 young creatives to imagine what their community needs and build pathways for these futures to emerge. Connections to local organizations, supportive and nurturing artist support and production of a large-scale multimedia show will help interns will develop their voices and build skills in areas of video, music & audio, performing arts, and multi-media production.
Youth participate in programming that includes direct services, intensive case management and wrap-around services; education and career advancement supports; leadership, organizing and advocacy; media, arts and culture; and health and wellness education. Young people access RYSE through multiple points of entry and engagement (drop-in, structured, individual, group, center-wide, referrals from schools, probation, etc.), which allows for an inviting and welcoming environment that meets them where they’re at.
