With support from the California Arts Council, Royal Stage will secure its own performance space. The space we used for almost a decade was eliminated during COVID-19. We will also continue to offer free and low-cost dance, art, and theater education & performance opportunities to women and low-income families.
Royal Stage has three core organizational programs and services:
1) A community performing arts studio offering ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, and hip hop dance as well as musical theater and visual art. Classes are divided into age-appropriate sections.
2) The Crown-A-Princess program provides free and very deeply discounted classes and performance opportunities to low-income girls and women. Participants in this program can also receive free counseling services, transportation assistance to and from the studio, and grocery assistance for their family.
3) Royal Stage partners with other organizations to provide arts programming as an enhancement to their great work. We provide keynote speakers, entertainment, instruction, and support to schools and non-profits.
