Project Description
With support from the California Arts Council, ROGER ANDERSON CHORALE AND ARTS CONSORT LTD will send its board members and planning committee to attend workshops to ensure the sustainability of our organization. The workshops will be provided by Nonprofit Management Solutions. NMS will lead workshops on Governance; Accountability and Regulation; Financial Management and Fundraising; and Social Media Outreach. There will be 2 workshops per day for a total of three days starting Fall 2019.
Organization Summary
The Roger Anderson Chorale’s core organizational programs and services consist of an annual season of 3 free concerts with 2 performances for each concert. Our concerts include music that will reach out to a diverse audience. On Memorial Day 2018, RAC’S concert paid tribute to our nation’s veterans. Season 2019 will include African-American Spirituals, Latin and modern composers. RAC works with the senior facilities in the area to ensure that our venues are ADA compliant.
