Project Description
With support from the California Arts Council, PENINSULA CHORAL ASSOCIATION DBA PENINSULA GIRLS CHORUS will provide choral training to girls in middle school as part of a comprehensive after-school arts education program. Meeting one hour per week for 36 weeks in the academic year, the Coastside choir will learn approximately twenty new songs, perform in two seasonal concerts and at least one community concert during the academic year 2020-2021.
Organization Summary
Peninsula Girls Chorus is the only all-girl youth chorus in San Mateo County. Between our six choirs, we serve approximately 200 Choristers as of Spring 2023, and would like to increase that number per our 5-year strategic plan, to 260 by the year 2025.
