Project Description

To engage, encourage, and enrich our community in the visual arts.

Paradise Art Center strives to reach out to the greater Paradise community in order to engage artists in creative art-making, to encourage community members to participate in art related activities, and to enrich and help rebuild our fire-ravaged town through meaningful, inclusive, visual art experiences, in order to help create a community that recognizes and appreciates the value of visual arts.

The goal of the art center is to have our students learn the skills, techniques, and methods necessary to create unique pieces that will expand and enrich their lives and foster a greater appreciation of the visual arts, as well as to facilitate social interaction, mutual support and friendship among our members. Paradise Art Center is hoping to provide a sanctuary where artists can come and recapture their passion for the arts and help heal the trauma that affected so many of our community members who fell victim to the Camp Fire in 2018.
