Project Description
We are seeking $16930.00 for our OPERA in the SCHOOLS program. This program provides the opportunity for students from k-Gr 12 exposure, some for the first time, to classical and opera music in a fun and interactive way through operatic assemblies and classroom experiences. Funding is used for our professional troupes salaries, accommodations, and trasportation, and printing of educational handouts and website page development.
Organization Summary
Our core organizational programs and services are education based. Opera in the Schools, OPERAtunity, Opera in the Park and Opera Outreach are focused on providing education in the operatic arts to a large number of people of all ages, genders, economic demographics and backgrounds.
