With support from the California Arts Council, ORANGE COUNTY MUSEUM OF ART will create artist-led interdisciplinary weeklong summer camps for students 12 and under. Visual art will be combined with music, creative movement, design, and more. We will also invite applications for paid assistant positions from 18-24 year olds.
The Orange County Museum of Art (OCMA)—designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Thom Mayne of Morphosis Studio—is a contemporary and modern art museum located at the Segerstrom Center for Arts in Costa Mesa, CA. The museum’s collection comprises more than 4,600 objects, with a concentration on art produced during the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. Since its inception, OCMA’s commitment to artists and audiences has been at the core of its activities, presenting the voices and work of influential artists and creative thinkers through innovative and ground-breaking exhibitions and programs. From new commissions, performances, immersive activities, workshops, film series, and exciting community happenings, OCMA’s program engages and sparks meaningful encounters with art and ideas.
