Mission statement
The Orange County Children’s Therapeutic Arts Center (OCCTAC) is the first and only Multidisciplinary Arts Organization of its kind in Santa Ana, Orange County to offer unique artistic programs that combine the arts, academics, and creative therapies. The mission of OCCTAC is to provide innovative, artistic, educational and therapeutic programs that inspire and transform children, at-risk youth, and their families to fulfill their highest potential.
The Orange County Children’s Therapeutic Arts Center (OCCTAC) was founded in the year 2000. During the past 19 years, our agency has grown significantly and successfully established strong community partnerships. Some of these partnerships include the Santa Ana Unified School District, the City of Santa Ana, the County of Orange, the Santa Ana College, and others. OCCTAC has served over 25,000 youth since the year 2000, rising from 100 students in its first year to more than 6000 children and youth each year.
